Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology team in Miami. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and episodic illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance reviews Skills & Qualifications
Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in EMR systems and telehealth platforms – eClinicalWorks preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida National certification (e.g., FNP-C, AANP, ANCC) DEA license (if prescribing controlled substances) BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Experience in relevant clinical settings preferred Benefits
