Director / Vice President of Sales – Bottled Water
A fast-growing bottled water company is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Director or Vice President of Sales
to lead its expansion across key U.S. markets. This role is based in
Southern California
and will oversee distributor management, retail account development, and national sales strategy for both traditional and emerging channels.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales strategy, execution, and revenue growth across all retail and distribution channels.
Build and manage relationships with key distributors, brokers, and retail partners.
Develop and execute channel strategies for grocery, natural/specialty, convenience, and on-premise.
Drive new business acquisition, pricing architecture, and trade programs.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align brand, trade, and logistics strategies.
Recruit, mentor, and manage regional sales personnel as the company scales.
Establish KPIs, forecasting models, and performance dashboards.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive sales experience in beverages (water, functional drinks, or premium CPG strongly preferred).
Proven track record driving growth through distributor networks and key retail accounts.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills with deep knowledge of West Coast retail landscape.
Experience launching or scaling a growth-stage beverage brand a plus.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
