Overview This position contributes and executes product initiatives within the Bank. Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the development of product strategies, priorities, and roadmap while ensuring alignment on product vision. Responsible for driving positive change across the Bank through technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as an interface between the business stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams. Provides expert consultation to team members and other stakeholders on tactics and strategies to achieve product goals.
Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to define, refine, and align on vision, strategy, priority, scope, and roadmap. Lead the develop and execution of a product vision and roadmap that aligns with business goals. Prioritize initiatives and define scope for Program Increments (PI), sprints and MVPs.
Prepare/refine product backlog and roadmap and work with the cross-functional teams to execute the product backlog. Plan and create initiatives, features, epics, and stories in JIRA.
Identify risks and dependencies and proactively mitigate them.
Utilize subject matter expert knowledge to build strategic long-term solutions.
Communication & Stakeholder Management - articulate the product vision and roadmap persuasively to all stakeholders. Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and manage expectations.
Qualifications
Min 12 + years of total experience - Product Owner and financial services and banking experience is preferred
Data Analysis skills with hands on data analysis, profiling, and PL/SQL skills
Experience with data modelling, data analysis, data visualization, API’s and real time services preferred
Full understanding and hands on experience of waterfall and agile development practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Skilled at simplifying technical details for diverse audiences and translating insights into strategic actions, forming strong partnerships with multiple cross-functional teams
Prefer experience with Marketing systems - CDP, Campaign Automation etc.
Prefer hands-on experience with CRM systems, campaign performance tracking, and commonly used data tools
