Director Of Finance

Chief Financial Officer | Strategic Consultant | CFO Advisory The Finance Director is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. This role involves managing the financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance functions to support the organization’s mission. The Finance Director will work closely with the CFO and program leaders to provide strategic financial guidance and ensure the efficient allocation of resources.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting

Grants and Funds Management

Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings (e.g., Form 990) and other statutory requirements

Oversee and coordinate annual audits

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

7+ years' of experience in finance or accounting

Strong knowledge of GAAP, non-profit accounting, financial reporting

Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and grant management

Strong communication and analytical skills
