Seattle, WA About The Role
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. The role focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans. What You’ll Do
Lead formal supervision of employees, conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, assign tasks and cross-train staff. Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance, working with technicians, vendors and contractors. Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variance reports. Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state and federal regulations. Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures, review price quotes for procurement. Conduct training on maintenance, repairs and safety best practices. Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, influence parties to reach agreements. Apply knowledge of discipline integration to achieve team and departmental objectives. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues. What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Valid driver’s license required; Facility Management certification preferred. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance retention. Leadership skills to motivate team and impact quality and efficiency. Extensive organizational skills with strong inquisitive mindset. Advanced math skills for financial calculations. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Why CBRE
