Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching and be responsible for the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and lead all aspects of the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Coordinate and handle facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Prepare and handle capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports and conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety standard processes. Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal laws. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. Lead environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. Coordinate vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Identify, fix, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred with 3-5 years of relative experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of critical, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department. Sophisticated math skills! CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. Employment Inquiry
