Role Overview

Primary Research Analyst Hybrid – Research Analyst for Consumer Insights in the Planning and Research Department. Responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting data to formulate reports based on research findings. Must have strong initiative, follow‑through, and the ability to anticipate client needs. Resourceful, professional, and a team player. Apply both qualitative and quantitative techniques, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, meet deadlines, prepare written client deliverables, present findings, and produce substantiated recommendations.

Key Value to the Team Support the Primary Research Manager on the Consumer Insights team

Conduct, analyze, and report findings from qualitative and quantitative research methods

Qualitative Research: Write discussion guides, conduct interviews and focus groups

Quantitative Research: Design and evaluate surveys, use statistical software to analyze data

Collect and analyze primary and secondary data to highlight industry trends, consumer demographics, preferences, etc.

Illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into written text and presentations

Prepare reports of findings, illustrate data graphically, and translate complex findings into written text and presentations

Present findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership and internal clients

Maintain relations with internal client teams and vendors

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Required)

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Psychology, or related field (Preferred)

1 year of experience in a related field (Required)

Proven primary and secondary market research analysis experience

Ability to design and execute research methodologies and analyze data from qualitative research, quantitative surveys, and secondary databases

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to draw conclusions from raw data

Expertise in research and evaluation methods, survey techniques

Proficiency in database programs and data analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, Access, QlickView, SQL, etc.

Ability to process computer data and format and generate reports

Proven ability to multi‑task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsive to ever‑changing matrix of department and hospital needs and act timely and accordingly with changes

Express ideas and thoughts well, both written and verbally

Exhibits good listening and comprehension skills

Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; working knowledge of SPSS, survey techniques, and qualitative research methodology

Background in research, psychology, advertising, marketing, or related field
