Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects, an architecture and design firm located in Annapolis, MD, is seeking project architects or managers with 2-4 years of professional experience to join our growing team. Employees work alongside project leadership as a valued member of a project team. Key Qualifications
Degree in Architecture. Fluency with Revit is required. Graphic presentation skills with knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp is preferred. Familiarity with the design process, including the preparation of Construction Documents. Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages of development. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident. Responsibilities
Perform and collaborate on all phases of project assignments including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, construction documentation, and construction administration. Assist with the development of design concepts and provide graphic and visualization tools for client presentations. Actively participate in client design reviews and presentations. Research manufacturers and participate in the selection and presentation of building materials, fixtures, equipment, finishes, color palettes, artwork, and lighting. Prepare floor plans, building elevations, sections, interior elevations, details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design and drawings, interior layouts, finish plans, and schedules. Assist in the construction administration phase of projects and review submittals, finish samples, sketches, and shop drawings. Collaborate with consultants, engineers, interior designers, and the architectural team. About BigwaHa Architects
