Position Summary The IT Manager – Applications combines technical expertise with leadership to develop scalable, efficient software solutions and plays a key role in project management and PMO functions to ensure strategic alignment and execution of technology initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Provide performance feedback, support professional growth, and promote continuous learning.
Address technical challenges, enforce best practices, and ensure successful project completion.
Stay current on industry trends and recommend improvements to processes and technologies.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and methodology.
Develop and maintain project roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables; monitor KPIs and success metrics.
Manage project risks and issues by identifying, assessing, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Lead status meetings, report progress, and ensure effective resource allocation and requirement definition.
Ensure data governance, quality, security, compliance, and adherence to IT policies.
Manage data integration and optimize database performance (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
Utilize analytics and reporting tools to deliver real‑time dashboards and actionable insights.
Develop data‑driven solutions to enhance decision‑making and operational efficiency.
Support initiatives involving AI, automation, and machine learning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field – or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of experience in software development or related discipline, including prior leadership or managerial responsibilities.
Proven track record in project management across multiple initiatives, with strong cross‑functional collaboration and PMO oversight.
Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Angular.
Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
