Overview Silicon Valley law firm is seeking a strong litigation secretary to assist their labor & employment practice. This is a direct-hire hybrid opportunity. They are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast‑paced litigation environment, and is confident working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

Generate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities (TOAs/TOCs) using Bluebook and California Style Manual

File and serve documents in federal and state courts, including complex e‑filing across multiple districts

Prepare and finalize exhibits for service and filing, including under‑seal procedures

Manage attorney calendars, schedule court appearances, depositions, and deadlines

Communicate with clients, courts, chambers, and opposing counsel

Organize case files and documents using firm systems

Assist with trial prep: exhibits, trial binders, witness lists

Conduct legal research on court rules and deadlines

Top Qualifications

7+ years of litigation secretary experience

Mastery of TOAs/TOCs and federal e‑filing procedures

Strong formatting and word processing skills (Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel)

Comfortable working autonomously and communicating with courts and clients

Familiarity with district‑specific filings and under‑seal protocols
