Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer
– Jacobs Experience designing HVAC systems for heavy industrial facilities. Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to deliver high-quality construction design packages. Base Pay Range
$102,900.00/yr – $135,075.00/yr Location
United States – Any U.S. location. Preferred candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office. Responsibilities
Layout, design, and sizing of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Prepare final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems. Coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs and project schedule. Qualifications
At least 10 years’ experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards. Adaptability to a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Preferred Skills
Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Design experience for plumbing/utility systems. Benefits
