Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer at Jacobs. This opportunity is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. office, but Jacobs intends to hire the best candidates. Base pay range: $102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities

Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water) Coordination with other disciplines Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks; align with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule Collaborate with a multi-discipline, interactive team to meet client needs Qualifications

At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities Proficiency in Revit Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design Ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely Preferred/Additional

Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D Experience in design of plumbing/utility systems Benefits
