Job Description

Well-established pump distributor is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to oversee and direct all aspects of daily warehouse operations at our Clearwater, FL location. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in warehouse management and logistics, with the ability to drive operational efficiency, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

This role is critical to aligning warehouse performance with company goals, supporting customer satisfaction, and developing a strong team culture within the department.

Duties

  • Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce warehouse policies and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff; foster a positive team environment focused on accountability and productivity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Central Processing to ensure seamless order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards; conduct regular inspections and audits.
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting to monitor operational success and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Experience

  • 10+ years in warehouse or distribution management, with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Strong background in logistics, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in WMS platforms as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes, along with inventory control practices.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
