Litigation Secretary
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, United States
Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned attorneys, ensuring organization and efficiency.
- Perform heavy e-filing for state and federal courts using One Legal and First Legal.
- Prepare and upload documents for e-filing, including motions under seal and notices of removal.
- Handle time entry, expense reports, and reimbursements.
- Manage complex calendaring and deadlines.
- Draft and format pleadings, including TOAs and TOCs.
- Maintain case files in iManage and ensure accurate document organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation secretary experience, preferably in Labor & Employment law.
- Strong experience with e-filing for both state and federal courts.
- Hands-on experience with motions under seal, oppositions to summary judgment, and removals.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with iManage is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
