The Parts Authority is hiring: Delivery Driver in Rockville

We are rapidly expanding and looking for full‑time candidates to join the Parts Authority family as Delivery Drivers. Competitive hourly rate, company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver automotive parts, providing a friendly and courteous service.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, and use navigation apps.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations.
• Offer excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
• Maintain a safe driving record and abide by all transportation laws.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, reconcile debt and credit, and manage all delivery‑related moneys.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify manager of any issues.
• Assist in any store or warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Promote workplace safety and secure transfer of cash or other assets.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license (21 years old or over).
• Current, valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (75 lbs for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers).
• Proficient with a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to take directions and work well with others as a part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed (preferred).
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Meet all above minimum requirements and knowledge, skills, and abilities to be eligible.
