Accenture Federal Services is a technology company focused on helping the U.S. federal government achieve stronger, safer, and more efficient outcomes. We are looking for a Product Sales Leader to drive growth of our government software portfolio.
Responsibilities
Own and execute the sales strategy for defense‑related software solutions across federal, defense, and intelligence customers.
Develop and implement commercial frameworks including pricing, bundling, and value‑based selling tailored to defense procurement models.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to shape offerings that meet mission‑critical needs in defense environments.
Partner with marketing to craft targeted campaigns, messaging, and thought leadership that resonate with defense stakeholders.
Build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers in defense agencies.
Lead opportunity identification, qualification, and closure across complex sales cycles involving compliance, security, and procurement regulations.
Work closely with legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts and delivery commitments.
Required Qualifications
7+ years in enterprise software sales, with at least 3 years focused on defense or government clients.
Proven record of defense client capability and solution sales success, particularly in mission‑critical and custom software capabilities.
Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR, Other Transaction Authorities and procurement processes.
Experience in pricing strategy, commercial modeling, and solution packaging.
Strong grasp of government procurement processes, compliance standards, and defense contracting.
Ability to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder environments.
Travel: 25%+ domestic and overseas.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, or mission‑critical software platforms.
Familiarity with ITAR, FedRAMP, CMMC, and related compliance frameworks.
Existing relationships within defense agencies or integrators.
Strong communication and executive‑level presentation skills.
Benefits and Pay Range US citizenship required. Pay range for Washington, DC is $186,300 – $360,800 USD. Additional benefits are available.
