We are hiring a Senior Data & HPC Engineer / Simulation Analyst / Cloud Optimization Specialist (mid‑level to senior‑level) to support and optimize data‑intensive and high‑performance computing environments. This role combines data engineering, simulation modeling, distributed computing, and cloud cost optimization responsibilities — critical to modern scientific computing and mission‑driven analytics.
As a Senior Data & HPC Engineer your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets (ETL/ELT).
Analyze streaming data, support real‑time analytics, and develop data visualization dashboards.
Develop and run simulation models for predictive analytics, optimization, or research purposes.
Install, configure, and maintain HPC clusters, high‑speed networks, and data storage systems.
Deploy and optimize parallel computing jobs using tools like MPI, CUDA, OpenMP, and Slurm.
Monitor system performance, conduct benchmarking and performance tuning.
Implement tools for cloud resource optimization (e.g., Spot.io, CloudHealth, AWS/Azure cost tools).
Gather and report system and performance metrics and automate usage analytics.
Lead or contribute to system resource control, data archiving, data transfer, and troubleshooting.
Mentor junior staff (Senior‑level only) and contribute to technical leadership and architectural decisions.
Required Qualifications
US Citizenship.
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years applicable HPC engineering experience.
Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
Proven leadership in HPC system management, simulation analysis, and performance optimization.
Experience managing complex storage clusters, HPC networks, and cloud optimization frameworks.
Ability to provide technical mentorship and lead complex initiatives across teams.

Programming : Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, Bash
Visualization & BI : Tableau, Power BI
