Base pay range $113,960.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

About The Role Become a member of the Kong’s Revenue Team! We are seeking a Manager that will be responsible for supporting the Team’s non–GAAP recurring revenue tracking, recording and reporting, as well as their associated operationalization and automation. In addition to revenue, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of key SaaS financial metrics such as net‑dollar‑retention, gross retention, gross expansion and have experience reporting to the Board and external investors on SaaS financial metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience with ARR (and other forms of recurring or consumption‑based revenue) day‑to‑day management, including data management and systems, and an understanding of GAAP is desirable, and interpreting contracts. We are looking for a hands‑on, driven person who is ready to make an impact. This position will report directly into the Sr. Director of Revenue and Corporate Accounting and will be required to foster relationships with multiple departments within the organization.

What We Look For

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or equivalent quantitative field

6+ years or equivalent tenure from related positions in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or data analytics teams

Data Analysis: Experience with handling large amounts of complex data, understanding business questions and making data‑driven insights and deliverables. Excellent analytical skills.

Business Partnership: Proven ability to drive strong cross‑functional relationships (especially within Finance and GTM organizations) to achieve business outcomes

Systems: Experience with SalesForce and auxiliary systems

Communication: Ability to present financial data using detailed reports, charts, and narratives.

Experience with high‑growth SaaS/Technology industry

Experience with GAAP and non‑GAAP financial metrics

Experience with SalesForce and auxiliary systems

Responsibilities

Manage the Company’s day‑to‑day ARR operations, reporting and analysis.

Maintain ARR, MRR and Consumption revenue based platforms and streamline and ability to disaggregate and consolidate reporting metrics as the business evolves

Maintain ARR historical files and systems, as well as assist with on‑going projects for streamlining, automation and transformation.

Support the GTM team on deal strategy, including evaluation of deal economics, commercial terms and conditional and operational requirements to present risk/reward profile for opportunities, as needed

Support maintaining bookings and revenue policies related to non‑GAAP metrics such as ARR, net‑dollar‑retention, gross‑retention, gross‑expansion and others

Evaluate current processes and systems and offer recommendations for areas of improvement

Review SalesForce opportunities for completeness and accuracy of evidence of contractual terms such as amounts, start and end dates, special terms, others

Partner with the Sales and Sales Operations teams and the executives in those teams to drive bookings and revenues that reflect company objectives while complying with internal policies and with GAAP

Drive continuous system enhancements with Sales Operations, Product and Technical Operations as it relates to all orders to cash processes to improve efficiencies and ensure scalability.

Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support for general financial operations as needed to support business and any other special projects.
