Experienced design & sales professional with a passion for selling in the home. Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters (Ideal). Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments. Proven measuring skills. Background in bath remodels, other home‑investment & remodeling services, or independent design & installer company owners who want to expand their business. Why Partner with CDI?
Source of hassle‑free, no‑cost quality leads from top‑tier retailers. Access client & sales information anytime, anywhere. Ability to quote prices in the client’s home, enter & track orders, and access product installation schedules. Direct access to dedicated sales support team members. What You Bring to the Table
Excellent sales and customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold (training is provided). Ability to anticipate customer needs through an industry‑proven sales process. Ability to recommend products to customers for home design needs. Willingness to learn and participate in professional training & development opportunities to increase sales performance. Leaves positive and lasting impressions. Education and Experience
Experience using CRM and data systems (e.g., Salesforce) required. Basic computer skills, scanning, downloading/uploading to a website, emails. Currently possess, or willing to obtain, liability insurance. Possess all applicable state and local licenses. Must have a reliable truck or van to transport window treatments. Must have a secure location to receive freight. Physical Requirements
Periods of standing and walking throughout the in‑home and retail spaces. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to perform ALL window measurements. Must be able to climb ladders, use scaffolding, load/unload pallets. Training & onboarding compensation provided for this commissioned position with the company.
