Accounting Clerk (Contract – Potential to Hire)

Overview: A well-established food manufacturing company in Pico Rivera is seeking a detail-oriented

Accounting Clerk

for a contract position with the potential to convert to permanent. The ideal candidate will support the accounting team with high-volume data entry, invoice processing, and general accounting duties in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Process 500–1,000 invoices per week and assist with three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including posting payments and preparing check runs. Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and communicate with vendors as needed. Assist with month-end closing activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Maintain organized accounting records and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation. Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting department as required. Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes and three-way matching. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting and meet deadlines.
