Job Overview
Housekeeping Manager
– Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station – Denver, CO
Pay $65k-$70k/yr – Position open until 11/08/2025 or until filled.
Responsibilities
Direct, interview, hire, counsel, plan work schedules and assign duties of Housekeeping associates.
Lead pre-shift meetings communicating arrivals, departures, identify VIPs, delegate room assignments and duties.
Assist the Executive Housekeeper in interviewing and selecting new associates for hire.
Monitor housekeeping staff productivity and efficiency to recommend promotions or status changes.
Handle employee complaints, grievances and discipline up to termination as needed.
Determine materials, supplies, tools to be used, stocked and sold.
Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOPs and health/sanitation standards.
Implement emergency training and procedures to protect guests, staff and assets.
Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and concentration areas to ensure smooth flow.
Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift to control inventory and expenses.
Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction; log items into Lost and Found and answer inquiries.
Qualifications
One to two years of post‑high school education.
One to two years of related experience with this company or other organization(s).
Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
Ability to meet standards of appearance.
Can communicate well with guests.
Physical Demands
Pushing vacuum entire hallway, carrying supplies, carrying dirty linen, removing room service trays.
Bending/kneeling for dusting, retrieving dirty dishes.
Ability to communicate with guests, housekeepers, main linen room attendant, supervisor.
Mobility to reach all areas including shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture.
Continuous standing and walking to accomplish tasks.
Climbing stairs – approximately 40 steps 15% of a 40‑hour week.
No driving required.
