Job Description Summary
Generator and Electrical Systems support team for generator flange to flange Requisition and fleet support activities and deliverables.
Execute the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support collectors/brushless exciter assemblies or systems.
Direct drafting and support manufacturing, suppliers, and business partners to assure that design intent from conceptual definition to finished product is understood and achieved.
Develop the component history and application through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to gain deep product knowledge.
Perform generator collector requisition activities, meeting schedules and cost objectives.
Support manufacturing, sourcing, field services, and installation activities as required for generator collector components.
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
Participate in teams assigned to address specific initiatives.
Provide the collectors/brushless exciters and rotor team support for new and ongoing innovation/design improvements.
Deliverables packages shall be in accordance with applicable design standards and design practices.

Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills; verbal, written communication skills, and presentation skills knowing when to use more technical detail and when to summarize; ability to work with fellow engineers as well as leaders at customer
Solid analytical competencies, ability to troubleshoot quickly and on-the-fly, especially at customer locations
Education
Masters or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
