How does this role contribute to our collective success? The Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), enabling the delivery of large-scale, high-value solutions in the Property & Casualty (P&C) / Specialty insurance domain. This role facilitates ART events and processes, assists teams in delivering value, and drives relentless improvement across the train. The RTE ensures alignment between business strategy and execution, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What will you do in this role?
Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
Coordinate across Scrum Teams to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and feedback loops
Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and Business Owners to ensure strategic alignment
Monitor and escalate impediments, ensuring timely resolution
Support Agile maturity and SAFe adoption across the organization
Maintain and communicate ART-level metrics and reporting
Champion Lean-Agile principles and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration
Assist with release readiness, stakeholder communication, and change management
Lead Agile transformation initiatives and coach teams on SAFe practices

What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 3 years in a SAFe or Scaled Agile environment
Proven experience facilitating PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies
Strong understanding of SAFe roles, events, and artifacts
Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex dependencies
What we prefer you to have:
Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or Reinsurance
SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or equivalent
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
Experience coaching Agile teams and driving Agile transformation
Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and Agile budgeting practices
Role Factors: In this role, you will typically be required to:
Be in the office 3 days per week
Lead and collaborate across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders
What we offer: [For US candidates only]: For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $115,000 to $135,000 (GA). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.
