Lead technical design for municipal water/wastewater pipeline projects across California. Manage project delivery, client relationships, and team development. Opportunity for advancement as you build the conveyance practice. Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and support to engineering team. Manage project tasks, client coordination, and scheduling for water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater systems, and pump/lift stations. Prepare construction packages, specifications, cost estimates, and construction oversight for new construction and rehabilitation projects. Conduct condition assessment evaluations for pipeline and pump/lift assets, ensuring budget and schedule adherence. Mentor and develop junior engineers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance management. Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of water/wastewater design experience. Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field. California PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. Preferred Qualifications
15+ years of experience. Master’s degree or MBA. Master planning or alternative project delivery experience. Active participation in regional or national professional associations. Key Skills
Excellent technical engineering and project/task management skills. Strong background in water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater, and pump station design. Effective communication, written and oral. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Ability to build and maintain client relationships and manage proposals. MS Office applications proficiency. Benefits
