Project Engineer Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our office in San Antonio, TX.

Description A Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide technical engineering information to a Project Manager to ensure project compliance with plans, codes, specifications and design instructions. Assist in evaluations and solutions for potential field problems, referring them to Project Management.

As a Project Engineer at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Assist with development of startup checklist and site logistics plan

Assist with development of quality control plan

Assist with and monitor permit processes

Prepare closeout log

Participate in and document owner training

Compile as‑built drawings

Administer RFI process

Develop submittal log and administer submittal process

Document job site meetings

Verification of project materials

Develop and maintain material expediting log

Coordinate and/or conduct quality control inspections

Establish record and permit sets of documents

Ensure accessibility of show drawings and submittals

Create, distribute and expedite sub response to RFPs

Process progress photos

Assist in preparation of Owner Change Requests

Assist with preparation of project status reports

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Working knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications and building materials

Ability to perform trigonometric calculations, either manually or with calculator

Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others

Procore experience preferred
