Position Overview Electrical Superintendent – San Antonio, TX Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the primary field leader on job sites, responsible for managing subcontractors, field forces, and project execution while maintaining safety and schedule.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on job sites
Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy
Oversight of multiple jobs and manpower for each job
Develop and update the project schedule, including two‑week look‑ahead schedules
Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
Coordinate the work of subcontractors’ field forces
Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers
Maintain accurate cost reports
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
At least 8 (eight) years of commercial construction experience
2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
Experience managing others with a proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring
Experience with Conest and Accubid software
Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good written and verbal communication skills
