I'm currently partnering with a
Boston-based biopharmaceutical company
that’s leading the way in
neurology and rare disease innovation . They’re looking to bring on a
Director of Medical Affairs
to take ownership of U.S. medical strategy for a high-impact therapeutic area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s passionate about science, cross-functional leadership, and making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through medical strategy and field engagement.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading the
U.S. Medical Affairs strategy
for a key asset in the neuroscience/rare disease space
Acting as the
internal medical lead
across commercial, regulatory, clinical development, and HEOR functions
Collaborating with the
MSL team
to shape field medical plans and drive scientific engagement with KOLs and investigators
Supporting
real-world evidence
and
investigator-initiated study proposals , while helping to drive publication strategy
Leading
medical input into launch planning , training, congress strategy, and scientific messaging
Providing insights to internal teams based on field intel, medical trends, and stakeholder feedback
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards for medical activities
What They're Looking For:
Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD required)
8+ years
of experience in Medical Affairs or related roles within biotech/pharma
Therapeutic expertise in
neurology, neuroscience, or rare diseases
strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience in
cross-functional leadership and strategic planning
Strong communication skills, both scientific and interpersonal
Prior launch experience is a major plus
