This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and support design, permitting, and client management efforts for a diverse range of land development projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site/civil engineering projects from concept through completion, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control. Oversee stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation. Drive business development efforts, develop new client relationships, and maintain existing partnerships. Work closely with office leadership to manage project teams, develop growth plans, and ensure efficient staff utilization. Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Integrate site/civil efforts with geotechnical and environmental engineering disciplines. Contribute to technical and proposal writing efforts and represent the firm in professional organisations and community initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. 10+ years of local experience in land development engineering, with preferred expertise in K-12 school projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Proven ability to lead and manage complex site/civil design efforts. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience with business development and client management.
