Position Overview As an
Electrical Estimator , youll play a vital role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects, including ground-up construction, renovations, and tenant improvements. Working closely with project management, operations, and leadership teams, youll analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare proposals that support business growth and client success.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor and material cost summaries Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare proposals, budgets, and bid documents for internal and external presentation Track project changes and adjust estimates to maintain accuracy and competitiveness Attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project understanding Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership during job turnover and execution Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to support repeat business and continuous improvement
What Were Looking For: 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial or industrial construction) Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and construction drawings Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelors degree in a technical field, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality, safety, and company values
