Senior Electrical Estimator
St Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $90k - 120k Konik is partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in the Twin Cities region seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support continued growth across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and multi-family markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex bids, collaboration, and direct client engagement. Responsibilities
Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects. Interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Perform material and labor takeoffs using AccuBid estimating software. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals. Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site walks as needed. Prepare bid proposals and assist with client presentations. Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability challenges. Partner closely with project managers and engineers throughout preconstruction. Maintain cost history data and contribute to process improvements. Support design-build/design-assist efforts with pricing insights. Qualifications
5+ years of electrical estimating experience on projects typically ranging from $1M–$10M. Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, and systems. Working knowledge of NEC and local codes. Proficiency with AccuBid (required), On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (AutoCAD a plus). Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Ability to work on-site (flexibility for remote work as needed). Benefits
