Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-driven
Construction Bookkeeper
with hands-on
Sage Intacct
experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our growing construction business. This role will oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end closings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, project-focused environment and can partner closely with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and job profitability. Key Responsibilities
Manage
Accounts Payable (AP)
and
Accounts Receivable (AR)
with accuracy and timeliness. Perform daily/monthly
bank and credit card reconciliations . Prepare and post
journal entries
and account adjustments. Maintain and reconcile
general ledger accounts . Support and execute
month-end and year-end closing processes . Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with
GAAP . Partner with project managers to monitor costs, billing, and profitability. Maintain organized documentation for all transactions. Assist with
audit preparation
and provide supporting documentation. Utilize
Sage Intacct
for all accounting and reporting functions. Qualifications
3+ years
of bookkeeping/accounting experience ( construction industry preferred ). Sage Intacct
expertise is required. Strong
MS Excel
and general accounting software skills. Solid understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entry processes. Knowledge of
construction job costing
is a plus. High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to meet deadlines. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. On-site in
Delray Beach, FL . Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Collaborative, team-oriented office with direct access to leadership. Seniority level
