Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated
Construction Accountant in Delray, FL
to take full ownership of all accounting operations within their growing firm. You’ll play a critical role in supporting executive decisions by maintaining detailed oversight of accounts, contracts, and construction-related financial activity. This position reports directly to the Controller and is ideal for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and become the go-to accounting expert inside a fast-paced, luxury residential construction company. Key Responsibilities
Manage
all accounting aspects Oversee
AP/AR, General Ledger, Month-End Close , and
bank reconciliations Maintain and reconcile
CIP and WIP schedules Administer
project cost tracking, bank draws , and
construction loan compliance Partner with project managers to ensure accurate and timely contract and pay schedule management Develop deep familiarity with
every project, contract, and financial schedule
across the company Qualifications
3–4+ years
of hands-on construction accounting experience Proven experience in
luxury residential construction
(single-family and townhomes preferred) Proficiency in
Sage Intacct
and
Procore
highly desirable Strong understanding of
construction loans , job costing, and
project-based accounting Seniority level
Mid-Senior level Employment type
