Software Engineer – Spectacles Team at Snap Inc. Join us to build next‑generation spatial computing experiences across Spectacles devices, mobile apps, and cloud.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app, and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences.
Work with Product, Design, and partners across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade‑offs, and deliver solutions needed to build innovative products.
Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of software development in iOS and Android mobile apps.
You understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience.
3+ years of experience with consumer‑facing iOS and Android mobile app development.
Proficiency in Swift or Objective‑C for iOS development.
Proficiency in Kotlin or Java for Android development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with building apps or services running on AR/VR devices.
Experience with cross‑platform development, such as building software running across AR/VR and mobile devices.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC)
– Base salary range $157,000‑$235,000 annually.
Zone B
– Base salary range $149,000‑$223,000 annually.
Zone C
– Base salary range $133,000‑$200,000 annually.
Eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
