We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do Design, implement, and operate features across the Spectacles device, mobile app, and cloud to enrich product experiences and fulfill our spatial computing vision.
Work with Product, Design, and cross‑team partners to understand product requirements, evaluate trade‑offs, and deliver innovative solutions.
Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of software development for iOS and Android mobile apps.
Understanding of the operational aspects of your system and participation in incident or hotfix investigations and resolution.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience.
3+ years of experience with consumer‑facing iOS and Android mobile app development.
Proficiency in Swift or Objective‑C for iOS development.
Proficiency in Kotlin or Java for Android development.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with building apps or services that run on AR/VR devices.
Experience with cross‑platform development, such as building software across AR/VR and mobile devices.
