Monday-Friday What You’ll Do
Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic, therapeutic, and tracer studies under physician direction. Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment to produce SPECT and PET scans for physician interpretation. Perform cardiac imaging procedures to detect and assess abnormalities. Take patient histories, explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each exam. Calculate, measure, and document radiation dosages and radiopharmaceuticals. Conduct quality control checks, calibrate laboratory equipment, and maintain accurate records. Safely handle and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with regulatory standards. Support departmental accreditation by maintaining thorough records and assisting with compliance. What We’re Looking For
Certification and current licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N). Experience with SPECT and PET imaging, especially in cardiac care. Strong technical skills with imaging equipment and quality control procedures. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
