Job Summary
This split-role Lab Technician position is critical for lab accuracy. You will execute precise sample processing and comminution techniques (processing, aliquoting, labeling, and storage) in a high-volume commercial lab. The other half of the role involves wet chemistry extractions and digestion techniques for analysis on HPLC or LECO Protein Analyzer systems. Steel-toe shoes are required for work.

Shift : 1st shift, Monday - Friday
Contract : 12 Months
Salary : $21 - 23 per hour
Responsibilities
Execute precise sample preparation and comminution techniques (e.g., grinding mills, blenders) and ensure accurate labeling and logging into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Perform chemical digestion and extraction procedures for total fiber and protein analysis. Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including HPLC and Protein Analyzers, for result generation. Skillfully manage multiple tasks and priorities, maintain sample organization, and prepare samples for external laboratory shipments. Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety and quality protocols (e.g., PPE, GMP, OSHA, ISO). Qualifications
