As a recognized Breast Center of Excellence, we are committed to exceptional care and support. Position Overview: Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist)
Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control. Ensures high-quality care and meets needs. Requires working knowledge in Digital Mammography, sterile technique, documentation. Requires independent work, excellent patient care and communication, core values. Job Requirements
Documentation of Digital Mammography Tomo Training (8 hours) Mammography Experience: Minimum of 200 exams performed in the past 24 months Mammography Continuing Education: 15 hours completed in the past 36 months Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology Program Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) Current Mammographic Permit Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to effectively operate radiologic equipment Preferred but not required
Associate’s Degree ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Where You'll Work
