Group Director, Commercial Partnerships
Amplifi is dentsu's media investment and innovation platform, supporting our agencies and clients with the tools and expertise to drive smarter media decisions.
Our Partnerships & Platform team leads strategic partnerships across dentsu Media US, connecting agencies (Carat, iProspect, dentsuX), clients, and investment teams.
The Group Director, Commercial Partnerships reports to the VP, Commercial Partnerships and serves as a subject-matter expert in B2B and Retail/Commerce.
Responsibilities
Serve as the B2B and Commerce subject-matter expert within the Partnership community, supporting cross-channel strategy.
Develop and execute commercial partnership strategies to drive revenue and expand market presence.
Lead a team to deliver on commercial partnership goals.
Identify and pursue new opportunities, ensuring deal details are tracked and documented.
Manage and optimize the commercial partnership budget.
Oversee daily management of commercial terms, ensuring delivery of negotiated deal points and building custom client plans.
Execute deals, including reporting, workflows, tracking, and compliance.
Shape Partnership themes and lead external communications (e.g., panels, PR, articles).
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in commercial partnerships, business development, or a related field.
Experience driving revenue growth through commercial partnerships.
Partner with our teams and clients to implement Joint Business Plans, ensuring all negotiated value is realized.
Experience negotiating and finalizing intricate partnership deals that deliver shared value.
Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary range: $113,000 - $182,850. Eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
