The Opportunity We are seeking a
Vice President, Human Resources – Sales & Business Development
to join our global leadership team. Reporting directly to the
SVP, Human Resources
for our Airlines & Fleets and Military, Helicopter & Energy Divisions, this role presents a rare opportunity to shape the future of StandardAero’s people strategy at the intersection of
Sales, Business Development, and Asset Management
— three of the company’s most critical growth engines.
Serving as a trusted strategic advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, the VP, HR will:
Champion organizational design and HR practices that foster innovation and sustainable growth
Lead strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition to support global expansion
Build and reinforce a culture of agility, collaboration, and high performance across diverse international teams
Translate business objectives into actionable, measurable people strategies that drive results
Provide hands-on HR leadership to customer-facing, globally dispersed teams operating in complex, fast-paced markets
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources or related field preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive-level role
Strategic Partnership:
Proven success partnering with and influencing senior global sales or commercial leadership teams
Organizational Design & Change Management:
Strong background in structuring organizations and leading through transformation
HR Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of HR disciplines, processes, policies, and employment law
Interpersonal Effectiveness:
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills
Business Acumen:
Strong analytical capability to assess organizational needs and implement impactful solutions
Leadership:
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to lead with integrity and influence
Mindset:
Collaborative, results-driven, and customer-focused with a positive, people-oriented approach
