is partnering with a well‑known company to find a

Social Media Coordinator

for a full‑time 12‑month contract based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires working onsite four days a week with one day remote, and includes benefits such as vision, dental, and medical coverage.

Role Overview We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who thrives on Instagram and TikTok. In this fast‑paced, hands‑on role you’ll plan and run shoots, capture live event content, and regularly film in our retail locations alongside associates. You’ll spot trends quickly and turn them into fresh, same‑day content.

What You’ll Do

Develop, script, film, and edit short‑form video (Reels/TikTok) and photography optimized for each platform’s best practices.

Coordinate and lead shoots – shot lists, talent, permissions – traveling weekly to retail locations for associate features and capturing event and live content.

Manage the content calendar; schedule posts; craft on‑brand captions; select music/audio; tag products or partners as needed.

Quickly adapt to emerging trends; deliver real‑time event coverage; support community management by monitoring comments and routing DMs.

Monitor metrics (views, engagement rate, saves/shares, follower growth); share key insights; test new content approaches to improve results.

Work with brand, retail operations, and HR/store partners to gather stories, gain approvals, and ensure brand consistency.

Maintain an organized media library, file footage, and manage releases and permissions.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in social media or content roles (brand, agency, or creator side).

Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok formats, features, and trend cycles.

Skilled at filming with phone or mirrorless camera; basic lighting/audio; capable of editing short‑form video (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).

Knowledge of design and copy basics: simple motion/graphics (Canva/After Effects a plus), writing on‑brand captions, and crafting engaging hooks.

Ability to interpret analytics (native tools, GA4, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.) and turn insights into action.

Organized, dependable, and comfortable directing or filming with on‑camera associates; able to work quickly without compromising quality.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for weekly store and field shoots.

Nice to Have

Experience capturing live event content.

Basic photography/color correction skills (Lightroom/Photoshop).

Understanding of brand safety, permissions, and simple release forms.

Location & Salary Phoenix, AZ – $54,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
