Role Overview PostNet IL106 (Lake Forest, Illinois) is looking for someone special to help our busy little center. The primary responsibility of this role is designing and creating graphics to meet specific marketing or promotional needs, such as business cards, flyers, signs, banners, mailings, or logos. Along with the rest of our team, the Graphic Designer is also responsible for setting up and fixing customer files to ensure a quality finished product, answering phones, emails, and taking walk‑in customers. This is a full‑time position.

What You Bring to the Table
Excellent graphic design and page layout skills
A professional design portfolio, preferably including business‑related graphics products
Proficiency in the following:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
Presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides)
Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
Word processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs)
Strong background with Windows operating systems
Knowledge of Web design is helpful
Knowledge of EFI Fiery and EFI Fiery Impose preferred
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to translate customer requirements into final products and services
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Multitasking – must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks
High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree or design certificate preferred
Experience with bulk mailing software and procedures is a plus
Valid driver’s license
What We Expect of You
Create promotional materials, including but not limited to multimedia presentations, banners, newsletters, flyers, signs, posters, and business cards
Involvement in the output, workflow management, and production of orders
Consult with customers about their graphics needs, assist with using related applications on center computers to complete desired tasks
Produce quotes for clients' review, create and assemble final layouts to prepare for the appropriate print process, and review final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.
Assist customers with other center services as needed (which include, but are not limited to, shipping, packing, and copying)
Maintain a clean workspace, assist with sales transactions, and help maintain an archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
Physical and Safety Requirements
Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for extended periods of time (potentially 90 minutes at peak times)
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must be able to communicate clearly with customers by phone, by email, and in person
May be required to operate a motor vehicle (Valid driver’s license required)
Must demonstrate knowledge of emergency policies and procedures
Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
