Overview
Senior Embedded Engineer role at V2X Inc. Develop, design, test, and support embedded software and hardware for security and intrusion detection systems.
Responsibilities
Develop strategies to execute team work
Design, develop, and support solutions for embedded Linux and ARM
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new project releases and initiatives to support and enhance existing embedded systems
Write and assist with software documentation and testing procedures
Work with QA and Testing departments to ensure quality
Qualifications
BS in EE, CE, CS, or relevant equivalent
7+ years of full-time embedded software development
Experience programming C/C++
Experience programming embedded processors such as STM32, ARM7/9, Cortex M0/M4
Knowledge of Embedded Linux, RTOS, and Bare-metal operating systems
Linux kernel development using Yocto and driver development in C/C++
Proficient with test equipment such as serial-data analyzers, oscilloscopes
Experience with protocols RS485, USB, TCP/IP OSI networking
Knowledge of client-server communication
Solid experience with version control tools: Eclipse, Subversion, GIT, Atmel Studio, Kinetis Design Studio, JIRA
Experience moving a product through FIPS certification
Pcb and schematic design in Altium is a plus
Solidworks knowledge is a plus
Supervisory / Budget Responsibilities
2+ years in lead embedded engineering
