Genesis10 is currently looking for a Data Conversion Defect Analyst to join our client's team on a 13-month contract. Able to work 100% remote.
W-2 pay rate range $50-55 an hour, depending on experience.
Our client, a leading financial institution, is undertaking a significant data conversion project from Cornerstone to Fiserv DNA. In this critical role, you will be at the heart of ensuring data integrity and quality by driving defects to resolution and facilitating clear communication between all parties involved.
Responsibilities
Defect Management & Resolution: Work directly with the client's Data Conversion team to identify, track, and drive data-related defects to a timely resolution.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead and participate in meetings with customers and client counterparts to perform detailed research, determine the root cause of defects, and propose effective remedy approaches.
Documentation & Requirements: Document detailed meeting notes, clarify business requirements, and define testing needs/cases related to the data conversion process.
Agile Story & Ticket Creation: Author clear and concise user stories to be logged in Azure DevOps (ADO), complete with acceptance criteria, or submit detailed requirement tickets to the client for defect resolution.
Conversion Command Center: Actively participate in conversion activities and support the project from the designated Conversion Command Center.
Travel: Some travel may be required for key project activities and meetings.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in managing defects, preferably within a Fiserv DNA implementation or Loan Servicing implementation.
Prior experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices and ceremonies.
Hands‑on experience writing user stories in Agile formats.
Demonstrated experience contributing to or running discovery interviews to gather requirements.
Direct, hands‑on participation in a Data Conversion project.
