Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts is seeking a dynamic and experienced

Sales Director (Special Events & Hospitality)

to lead our Sales Department. This role will drive event and catering sales across multiple restaurant and daiquiri concepts while strengthening partnerships with destination management companies (DMCs), convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs), and key corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy

Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sales strategies that drive event, catering, and partnership revenue across all Creole Cuisine concepts.

Lead, coach, and mentor the Sales Associates and Sales Administrator to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Set measurable sales targets, track results, and adjust strategies to ensure objectives are consistently met or exceeded.

Conduct regular team meetings to review sales performance, pipeline updates, and departmental initiatives.

Partner with the Executive Vice President and senior leadership on revenue forecasting, budget development, and long-term growth planning.

Business Development & Partnerships

Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), Convention and Visitor Bureaus (CVBs), and key corporate clients to generate event business and increase brand exposure.

Identify, pursue, and secure new accounts through proactive prospecting, networking, trade shows, client entertainment, and industry events.

Collaborate with marketing to identify target markets, coordinate campaigns, and promote Creole Cuisine’s diverse venues and offerings.

Represent Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts at conferences, trade shows, and community events to expand visibility and strengthen industry relationships.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitors, market trends, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.

Event & Client Management

Oversee all stages of the sales cycle, including inquiries, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

Partner closely with Operations, Culinary, and Marketing to ensure seamless event execution, consistent communication, and exceptional guest experiences.

Implement and monitor best practices for event planning, pricing, and post-event evaluation.

Maintain accurate client records, sales forecasts, and reporting in the company’s CRM system.

Resolve client issues promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships and positive brand representation.

Performance, Systems, & Reporting

Establish clear departmental goals, KPIs, and performance tracking systems to measure success.

Utilize CRM and event management software (TripleSeat, ThunderTix, or equivalent) to manage pipelines, generate reports, and monitor team productivity.

Prepare and present regular performance summaries to executive leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Partner with Finance and Revenue teams to ensure proper forecasting, billing accuracy, and contract compliance.

Leadership & Culture

Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that reflects Creole Cuisine’s values of Commitment, Integrity, Generosity, and Fun.

Support professional growth through coaching, ongoing development, and recognition of team achievements.

Serve as an ambassador of the Creole Cuisine brand, exemplifying professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork at all times.

Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the Sales Department to enhance efficiency and client engagement.

What We're Looking For

5–7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in hospitality, event, or restaurant group sales.

Proven success in driving outside sales and partnership development.

Established network with DMCs, CVBs, and hospitality industry partners.

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Proficiency in CRM or event management systems such as TripleSeat or ThunderTix.

Flexibility to travel and support events as needed.
