Associate Attorney - San Diego, CA A highly regarded boutique civil litigation firm in North San Diego seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its collaborative and supportive team. The firm focuses on complex business litigation, providing attorneys the opportunity to work on challenging, high-stakes matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a civil litigation attorney with 3-5 years of experience, ideally with a background in complex business litigation. The firm values work-life balance, with a reasonable 1,600-hour billable target that supports a sustainable and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and litigate civil matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
Collaborate with partners and colleagues on strategy, case management, and client communications
Qualifications
Active member of the California State Bar
3-5 years of civil litigation experience (complex business litigation preferred)
Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
Proactive, organized, and able to manage deadlines effectively
Demonstrated interest in professional growth and mentorship
