$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from OX Group Global The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of EDI systems and processes that facilitate seamless data exchange between the organization and its trading partners. This role ensures that EDI solutions align with business objectives, comply with industry standards, and support operational efficiency across departments such as supply chain, operations, finance, and customer service. The EDI Manager serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, driving continuous improvement in data integration and automation. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: EDI Strategy & Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall EDI strategy to support business goals and digital transformation initiatives. Design scalable and secure EDI architecture that integrates with ERP and other enterprise systems. System Implementation & Integration: Lead the implementation of new EDI solutions, including mapping, testing, and deployment. Coordinate integration efforts with IT, vendors, and trading partners to ensure compatibility and performance. Partner Onboarding & Management: Manage onboarding of new trading partners, including setup of communication protocols and transaction types. Maintain strong relationships with partners to resolve issues and optimize data exchange processes. Compliance & Standards: Ensure EDI processes comply with industry standards (i.e. ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and regulatory requirements. Monitor changes in compliance requirements and update systems and documentation accordingly. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee daily monitoring of EDI transactions to ensure successful transmission and receipt. Investigate and resolve errors, failures, or discrepancies in data exchange promptly. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of EDI processes, configurations, and partner specifications. Generate regular reports using Power BI on EDI performance, transaction volumes, and error rates for management review. Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior staff or contractors involved in EDI projects. Collaborate with departments such as operations, finance, and customer service to align EDI capabilities with operational needs. Evaluate and manage relationships with EDI software providers and service vendors. Assess new tools and technologies to enhance EDI functionality and efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy through EDI enhancements. Implement best practices and drive innovation in electronic data interchange. Training & Internal Support: Provide training and guidance to internal teams on EDI processes, transaction flows, and troubleshooting procedures. Act as a subject matter expert for EDI-related inquiries, ensuring users understand system capabilities and limitations. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in EDI management or integration roles. Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution is preferred. Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and their EDI modules. Proficient in integration tools and platforms (i.e. Celigo, Orderful, TrueCommerce). Proven track record of onboarding and managing trading partners. Experience implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex EDI transmission and data issues. Experience maintaining detailed records and generating performance reports. Proficient in Power BI reporting and dashboard building. Seniority level
