The EDI Analyst will be responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations with customers, suppliers, 3PL providers, financial institutions, and internal ERP systems. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT, business users, and external partners to ensure seamless, accurate, and compliant data exchange across the order-to-cash (OTC), procure-to-pay (P2P), and financial settlement processes. Key Responsibilities
Integration & Configuration Configure, test, and maintain EDI transaction sets with a focus on
Supply Chain (850, 855, 856, 810, 180, 832, 846, 852, 860, 865, 867, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947) ,
Finance (820, 823, 824, 829) ,
Transportation (210, 214, 240)
and
Controls (997). Collaborate with ERP (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or similar), middleware (SAP CPI, TrueCommerce Foundry, DMEDI/Vantage Point etc.), and trading partners to ensure successful integrations. Monitor and troubleshoot daily EDI transactions, proactively resolving errors and preventing disruptions. Business Process Support Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Warehouse Operations teams to understand requirements and implement EDI solutions that streamline business processes. Support EDI mapping and translation between X12/EDIFACT and internal system formats. Develop and maintain process documentation, trading partner guidelines, and operational runbooks. Governance & Compliance Ensure all EDI transactions meet industry standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and trading partner compliance requirements. Implement data validation and exception handling procedures to maintain data integrity. Coordinate periodic audits of EDI processes to ensure SOX, financial, and regulatory compliance. Recommend and implement process improvements for EDI transaction monitoring, automation, and error handling. Stay up to date on EDI standards, emerging technologies (APIs, JSON-based B2B integrations), and best practices. Qualifications Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with IT teams, business users, and external partners. Analytical thinker with problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience in
EDI analysis, mapping, and support
with emphasis on Supply Chain and Finance transactions. Strong experience with
ANSI X12 standards
(e.g., 810, 820, 824, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 945, 997). Experience with
ERP systems
(SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud preferred, but ECC, Microsoft, or Oracle acceptable). Hands-on experience with
EDI middleware
(SAP CPI, TrueCommerce Foundry, DMEDI/Vantage etc). Experience with third party EDI providers (Rithum OrderStream and Channel Advisor, SPS Commerce, LogicBroker) Technical Skills Knowledge of
mapping
formats (XML, IDoc, flat file, JSON, ANSI X12, EDIFACT). Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in EDI transactions. Familiarity with
APIs and modern B2B integration methods
