The Opportunity The Cloud Architect will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues
Conducting risk assessments
Identifying technical requirements
Managing project timelines
Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
Providing post-migration support and addressing any issues that arise
Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures
Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts
Implement security and compliance policies
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing
Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Qualifications
12 years Experience and HS or GED or 7 Years Experience and Bachelors
Active TS/SCI (no waiver - minimum requirement)
DoD 8570 IA Type: IAT Level 2
DoD 8570 Certification Requirements: Comp TIA A+ CE / Comp TIA Network +CE

Cloud Architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
PowerShell
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects
Python
Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance

Pay Range There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
