Opportunity
The Cloud Engineer will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues
Conduct risk assessments
Identify technical requirements
Manage project timelines
Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
Work with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
Provide post‑migration support and address any issues that arise
Document configurations, processes, and procedures
Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts
Implement security and compliance policies
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing
Ensure seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Day Shift – Mon – Fri; Ability to work on call
Qualifications Required
8 years of Experience and HS or GED or 3 Years Experience and Bachelors
Active TS/SCI (no waiver minimum requirement)
DoD 8570 IA Type: IAT Level 2
DOD 8570 Certification Requirements: Comp TIA A+ CE / Comp TIA Network +CE
Mandatory Skills
Cloud Architecture
Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
Powershell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects
Python
Strong ability to self‑organize and prioritize tasks
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
