Position Overview The M&A Integration Associate at Loenbro supports high-impact, cross‑functional programs focused on integrating acquired companies into the larger business structure. This role is critical in ensuring that integration plans stay on track, initiatives are well‑coordinated across stakeholders, and decisions and milestones are clearly communicated.

The Associate will track and organize integration initiatives, maintain a critical path of key activities, and support governance of integration programs across multiple simultaneous acquisitions. They will work closely with the M&A Integration Manager, functional leads, and acquired company teams to ensure alignment of priorities and help identify cross‑functional dependencies or risks.

Over time, this role offers significant growth opportunities to directly manage workstreams, lead smaller integrations, and contribute to shaping integration strategies alongside the Integration Manager.

Job Duties

Track and organize all integration initiatives and tasks in the integration plan using project management tools/software.

Build and maintain an integration critical path and roadmaps that highlight priorities, deadlines, and risks to ensure timely delivery of goals.

Support the development of integration strategies and guiding principles by gathering input from stakeholders and benchmarking best practices.

Support governance of integration programs across multiple acquisitions, including preparing agendas for and documenting follow‑ups after integration meetings.

Help coordinate across workstreams to push forward integration initiatives and remove blockers.

Develop and distribute clear communications related to key decisions, progress, and upcoming changes to stakeholders.

Document decisions, risks, dependencies, and critical milestones.

Draft and prepare presentations for executive leadership and steering committees to communicate and receive feedback on integration status and priorities.

Assist in building cross‑functional relationships across functions and business units to foster collaboration.

Support measurement of integration progress and employee sentiment by coordinating surveys, gathering feedback, and summarizing insights.

Track one‑time and recurring integration‑related costs to support budget management.

Growth Responsibilities

Directly manage less complex integration workstreams and/or entire smaller integrations.

Collaborate with the Integration Manager on refining integration strategy and approach.

Build strong cross‑functional relationships to align stakeholders and drive initiatives forward.

Help set integration‑related goals and milestones and track progress against them.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working in a demanding, collaborative environment with driven professionals.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities across projects.

Ability to frame and solve ambiguous problems with a structured, analytical approach.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to translate complex information into clear updates for stakeholders.

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with project management methodology and tools.

Experience in the construction industry or with construction‑related M&A integrations is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, corporate development, or M&A integration.
